( Peintre) - Edition Automne 2010

My work as an artist gives me both joy and excitement. I am fascinated by
experimenting with techniques and making my own landscapes inspired by my
childhood memories from Bergslagen, in the woods of Sweden. I have also been
exploring the use of triptychs which are viewed as windows to feelings. I
want the images to give the spectator room to meditate over own reflections.
The painted collages make a meeting place between structure and nature.
Nature plays a big part in my images as in most Swedish peoples lives.
The medias I work with are painting, collage, textile, drawing and mixed. My inspiration comes from music and nature, both of which have been a part of my life long interest.
I was educated in Denmark, Sweden and USA. Since graduating from art school 1989 I have been working as an artist and art teacher. My work has been shown mostly in Sweden and Japan.
