My paintings glide in between the visible and invisible worlds. They may reflect emotional and spiritual experiences on one hand - and concrete events on the other hand.
When I start a new painting I try to be in an empty and open state of mind, not to carry out any anticipated pictorial idea or vision.
My paintings develop slowly by chance and intuition, by adding several layers of oil color one upon the other. Thin transparent layers of color bring about to the painting depth and the time dimension. My paintings are internal landscapes and scenes. They reflect my feelings and experiences - they are traces of memories and expressions from the subconscious.
